Soulcraft is a frame-to-finish carpentry company in Simsbury, Connecticut. We build decks, sheds, garages; remodel kitchens, bathrooms, media rooms; convert basements to finished living space; replace windows, doors, and siding; and install trim including baseboard, crown molding, wainscoting, chair rail, and casing.

Building Science: Building codes are changing and energy performance is part of these new regulations. To meet meet these codes we understand that a house is a system–and it needs to be understood as such. For example, the way you frame a wall directly impacts what type of insulation you choose–the wrong choices mean material failure, poor indoor air quality, and energy performance that doesn’t meet expectations.

Perfection: If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well. We’re not afraid to take an extra trip to the saw to make sure a crown molding miter or a baseboard return is seamless or spend an extra few minutes air sealing plumbing and wire penetrations on a bathroom remodel.
